Roles and Responsibilities

• Document translation tasks (Requirement documents, Design documents, e-mails, Tickets, etc.) from English to Japanese language and vice versa.
• Interpretation service during conferences or meetings with counterparts and clients
• Run/chair project calls across various countries/projects wherever required

Language Qualifications

• Preferably with JLPT N1/N2 competency level
• For lower JLPT levels (N3/N4), it is a MUST to have strong translation and interpretation skills and good in Insurance related Kanjis & business terms
• Experience in Translation/Interpretation or Japanese Language Teacher/Instructor
• Effective written and oral English communication skills
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person and by email and phone
