Job Description:

Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Mental Health Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical psychology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in an integrative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary screening and assessment of OP patients under the guidance of senior clinicians
• Provide mental health assessment and other relevant support for IP patients
• Coordinate online and telephonic enquiries on mental health
• Provide individual and group therapy to patients with a variety of mental health issues
• Work with patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide holistic care to patients

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university
• MPhil in Clinical Psychology apreciated
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Mental Health Counsellor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to work in an integrative environment
• Proficiency in English and Malayalam languages

Working Hours:

• Preferably, the resource should be available on-site at the hospital at least until 8:30 PM.
