The person will be responsible for making travel arrangements, maintaining itineraries, and providing all necessary help and support for travel. He/she should ensure that all arrangements made comply with the organisation’s travel policy. He/she will also be the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all travel requirements both within and outside the country including road, rail, air transport and accommodation.
- Create and manage travel itineraries
- Communicate with clients to ensure their travel plans are on track and make necessary adjustments when required.
- Monitor and track travel expenses, prepare reports, and manage reimbursement requests/ coordinate with the accounting department
- Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree with IATA certification (or Candidates with added qualifications in travel and tourism will be prioritized)
- Coordinate directly with travel and accommodation providers to negotiate discounts for booking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree with IATA certification (or Candidates with additional qualifications in travel and tourism will be prioritized)
- experience more than 3 years in a similar position
- Proficient in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent word skills and Excel.
