Key Responsibilities of the Role:
· Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures for the Education vertical across states & UTs, cutting across various departments and ministries with primary focus on education.
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Education vertical, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and effectively with desired quality outputs / metrics.
· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that the Education vertical is aligned with overall organizational goals and objectives.
· Develop and manage budgets for the Education vertical, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
· Manage and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform at their best.
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, educational institutions, and other organizations in the education sector.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing the Education vertical.

Competencies Required for the Role:
Knowledge
· Should have a good understanding of various govt. schemes like DDUGKY, NSQF, RPL, Short Term Skilling and its challenges
· Should have operated in this role successfully for at least 2-3 Years
Skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
· Sound understanding of budgeting, financial management, billing, resource management.
· Ability to work under pressure & ambiguity
· Be flexible to work with multicultural work environment
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
· At least 10 years of proven track record in operations management, project management preferably in the education / skilling sector.
· Experience in working with Indian Government in relevant sector is preferred.
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
· Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing the education sector in India.
