Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Effectively carry out all Academic and Administrative duties.
- Effectively manage the complete school operations in an optimal manner, ensuring that the branch is profitable on a sustainable basis.
- -Ensure that all provisions of the Affiliation and Examination Byelaws and all directions given by CBSE from time to time are strictly complied with.
- Ensures the activities of the school are conducted in accordance with the rules laid down by the local authority, State Education Department and the respective Board of Examination (CBSE).
- Effectively co-ordinate with the Central office for policies or any updates
- Ensure the information called for by the education department/ Central office is shared with them within timelines.
- Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students academic performance and student discipline
- Effectively ensure that the teaching staff is optimally engaged at all points in time
- Supervise classroom teaching and effectively guide hand-hold and motivate teachers to give their best as per the Orchids curriculum philosophy.
- Effectively conduct, manage, supervise various events like parent orientation, PTM, sports day, coffee meets, student events &competition.
- Oversee the execution of the Curricular and Extra Curricular Programme as per guidelines.
- Effectively manage parent teacher association and respective committees and ensure parent delight during all parent interfaces with the school management.
- Coordinate with marketing team to extend marketing efforts as well to address parent questions.
- Maintain effective communication with students, staff and parents and effectively handle parent concerns.
- Effectively control attrition by facilitating a conducive work environment for the school staff.
- Effectively ensure that there is adherence to HR Policies and work with Human Resources team to recruit efficient resources within the prescribed time frame.
- Ensure teaching and non-teaching staff are taken through induction program at regular intervals.
- Any other assignments as directed by the managing committee
Required Candidate Profile :
- Minimum Masters Degree Science, Arts & Commerce
Minimum B.Ed Experience: 12 to 15 years of work experience in academics with minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience as a Principal
