Job Description of Principal

JOB TITLE College Principal
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

1. Provide Leadership within and on behalf of the college
2. Oversee all higher-level operations in college.
3. Create safe learning environment & set performance goals both for Students & Teachers & see how goal will be achieved.
4. Stimulate academic attainment and create a culture whereby students can develop each other skills.
5. Implement & monitor college policies & safety protocol.
6. Oversee administrative task & take effective action against any mishappening / Ragging.
7. Present data of college performance to Top Management.
8. Provide counselling & guidance to lecturer.
9. Handle emergencies & college crisis.
10. Manage college staff effectively by –
11. Taking responsibility for the appointment of college officers
12. Designating their duties & responsibility allowance with regard to agreed guidelines.
13. Supporting & developing them.
14. Monitoring their work and using appropriate procedure in matters relating to their wellbeing, performance, discipline & capability.
15. Lead on the recruitment, retention and succession planning of the College staff.
16. Manage the college funds in accordance with delegated authority within the financial regulations, including authorization of payments.
17. Oversee the proper use of the college space.
18. Work closely with the top management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION – M.Tech / M.SC / M.VSc / in Dairy Technology
REQUIED EXPERIENCE – 7 – 8 Years holding position as Lecturer in College, preferably in Technical college / Veterinary College.
WORK LOCATION – Vidisha
