Roles and Responsibilities

• hould have good oral and written communication skills, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience.
• Teaching English Language and Social Studies for classes of Grade 3 to Grade 5.
• Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating a positive learning environment.
• Create lesson plans for classroom and homework assignments.
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the class;
• Motivating pupils & maintaining classroom discipline;
• Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;
• Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development;
• Providing feedback to parents during parents meetings and other meetings;
• Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum.
• Should be a team player & participate in planning & development of the school.
• Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities
• Engaging classroom presence.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the superiors.
