Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- hould have good oral and written communication skills, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience.
- Teaching English Language and Social Studies for classes of Grade 3 to Grade 5.
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating a positive learning environment.
- Create lesson plans for classroom and homework assignments.
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the class;
- Motivating pupils & maintaining classroom discipline;
- Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;
- Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development;
- Providing feedback to parents during parents meetings and other meetings;
- Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum.
- Should be a team player & participate in planning & development of the school.
- Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities
- Engaging classroom presence.
- Any other responsibility assigned by the superiors.
