Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to foster a love for learning in young children. The teacher will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that supports the holistic development of children aged 1.5 to 6 years. The ideal candidate understands child development, values play-based and experiential learning, and works collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured play and guided interactions.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children’s development using tools such as anecdotal records, checklists, and portfolios.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and classroom happenings.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to plan school events and implement curriculum effectively.
• Maintain classroom discipline using positive behavior strategies.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of children at all times.
• Participate in professional development sessions and staff meetings.
• Follow school policies and uphold the values and philosophy of the institution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Certification/diploma in Preschool Education or ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education).
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children (1+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
• Patience, creativity, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, typically 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3 Saturday half days

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
