The job includes the following responsibilities:

• Teaching English &/or Social Studies for Classes 4 & 5 following the CISCE Board curriculum.

• Basic Requirement:

o To be able to delight in children.

o To have subject competency and the ability to build a learning environment that is supportive and productive.

o To be able to work with academic rigour, and build on the required skill sets that will enable students to approach the subject with confidence.

o To be able to challenge and develop all students by building on their curiosity and a passion for the subject.

o To be able to work with the different learning abilities of children and to build a learning programme that reflects the students’ needs, backgrounds, perspectives and interests.

o To be committed to continuous professional growth and learning.

o To collaborate with a team of teachers in giving shape to the Humanities and English program.

• To ensure that all other responsibilities related to ensuring a cohesive and balanced learning environment is taken care of-

o Creating lesson plans that are grade appropriate and in consonance with the ICSE curriculum.

o Correction of notebooks and assessment related corrections.

o Setting worksheets and question papers for all assessment related requirements.

Job Type: Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹360,000.00 – ₹540,000.00 per year
