The Position
We are looking for a passionate International Sales Manager to lead our global sales for all our brands.
The Responsibilities (in brief)
Strategy & Planning
- Formulate quarterly, annual and 3-year business growth plans for the International Business.
- Identify market opportunities to deepen & grow existing relationships as well as to develop new ones.
- Formulate country-wise growth plans for product selection, GTM and logistical support.
- Set up processes for leads identification, development and CRM.
Regulatory, Licensing & Onboarding
- Lead onboarding and documentation for new market entry and new product listing in existing markets.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full, timely compliances with country-specific regulations for personal care products.
- Keep our systems updated of changes in regulations across markets.
Sales, P&L and business operations
- Leverage brand strength, knowledge, relationships and team capabilities to drive achievement of business plans.
- Plan and optimize operations so that both topline and bottomline objectives are met.
- Drive participation in industry events so as to maintain share of voice in key international markets.
The Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a international sales in a personal care/FMCG company.
- Must be familiar with business planning, negotiations, regulatory & other mandatory requirements across Asian, African, European & American markets.
- Strong logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and high on traits of taking ownership and going beyond.
- Well versed in Data handling (SAP, MIS, Excel, Dashboards).
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, so as to get the job done with both internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Excellent cross-functional team working skills and team leadership skills.
- Education: MBA strongly preferred.
