– 7-12 years of experience in a core data-driven operations role at a consumer internet company in a teacher training / supply onboarding / operations role
– The ability to build strong processes and systems using technology interventions
– Very strong analytical and problem-solving ability
– Understanding of teacher training and learning would be a huge added advantage
– Based out of Gurgaon or South Delhi or relocatable to these areas
– Willing to work 6 days a week at a Series B startup
Roles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement:
PlanetSpark is a live learning platform and the most important asset of the company is our teachers. The company is on a hyper-growth path and needs to onboard 10,000 teachers by June 2022.
Teachers get selected by PlanetSpark’s internal team and then undergo an online onboarding. They have to then conduct a demo class with parents. This is an important step in the parents decision making and hence, a brilliant demo class would play a pivotal role in the conversion rates and revenue.
Your role will begin after teacher selection and will end with the teacher getting one student at the platform. This means that you would own up the entire journey of the teacher in the following steps:
a) Teacher onboarding (completely online)
b) Demo class preparation (completely online)
c) Demo class mock practice and coaching (tech + instructor-led)
d) Demo conduction (quality of demos)
The specific responsibilities of the role would include:
Teacher Training Funnel Management:
– Manage the online learning funnel to ensure maximum teachers complete the online learning program
– Build cohorts of teachers in different stages of training
– Come up with interventions and the right communication for different cohorts to ensure maximum completion rates
Demo Mocks Training
– Design a scalable process to ensure that the teachers practice mocks for demo classes to be conducted for parents
– Ensure that the operations of the mocks are managed smoothly
– Come up with product innovations to scale and simplify mock sessions and feedback management
Training Design
– Constantly refine the content of the online training process to ensure better learning
– Improve evaluation processes to ensure better teacher preparedness
Demo evaluation and improvement
– Create a process to audit demo sessions
– Constantly innovate and improve the demo sessions to build a demo wow for the parent
KPIs:
– Conversion Rate of onboarded teachers
– Teacher Completion Rate (% of teachers who entered the training funnel and got 1 student)
