Job description

Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, coordinate the counseling activities for students about specific academic or self-directed individualized programs, academic, personal or career matters which interfere with achievement of academic potential. Coordinate and implement programs to promote retention.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assesses student interest, aptitudes, and abilities in order to assist in academic and career planning.
• Counsel students in developing a specific academic program.
• Coordinates programs for students with unique goals and needs.
• Serves as a resource to other academic advisors/counselors concerning students with difficulties.
• Plans and implements programs to help students with academic and career decisions.
• Serves as a resource to faculty and professional staff, including at regional campuses, to help interpret academic rules and regulations.
• Compiles computer generated databases and statistical program evaluations.
• Maintains appropriate files and records.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Feedback-mails/phones (communication channel)
• Ability to listen, convince and satisfy the query.
• Responsible for Calling and tele counselling.
• Must have very good convincing power
• Must have experience in Telecalling
• Excellent Communication skill.
• Advise present or prospective customers by calling registered customers.
• Follow up on customers.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Knowledge of academic programs in area to be served.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound analytical judgment and to work without close supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
