Job Title: Drone Pilot Training Instructor
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development:
• Design and develop comprehensive drone pilot training programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and
regulations.
• Create instructional materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises. • Instruction and Training:
• Conduct classroom sessions to educate students on drone technology, regulations, safety protocols, and flight
procedures.
• Provide hands-on training for drone operation, flight manoeuvres, and emergency procedures.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through practical assessments and examinations.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay current with drone regulations from relevant aviation authorities (DGCA) and integrate updates into the training
curriculum.
• Ensure that training programs adhere to legal requirements and safety standards.
• Technical Expertise:
• Demonstrate and teach drone flight skills, equipment handling, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Instruct students on the proper use of drone software, sensors, and payloads.
• Safety Emphasis:
• Instill a strong culture of safety among students, emphasizing best practices and risk management.
• Teach emergency response procedures and ensure students are prepared to handle unexpected situations.
• Practical Application:
• Facilitate practical exercises, simulations, and real-world scenarios to enhance students’ ability to apply theoretical
knowledge in practical situations.
• Supervise and assess student drone flights to provide constructive feedback.
• Technology Integration:
• Keep abreast of advancements in drone technology and integrate relevant updates into the training curriculum.
• Familiarize students with the latest software tools and technologies used in the drone industry.
• Communication Skills:
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts in a manner that is accessible to students with varying levels of
expertise.
• Foster open communication channels with students, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments.
• Generate progress reports and certifications upon successful completion of training programs.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate and update training materials and methods based on feedback, industry changes, and emerging trends.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance personal knowledge and teaching skills.
