Job Title: PGT Commerce Teacher (Business Studies)
Job Location: Perungalathur
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Experience Level: Minimum [2-3] years of teaching experience at the PGT level.
Salary: Competitive, in the range of [₹45, 000 – ₹50, 000] per month (based on experience and qualification).
Job Summary:
Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial School (CBSE) is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced PGT Commerce teacher to join our senior secondary faculty. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Accountancy and Business Studies to Classes XI & XII, ensuring conceptual clarity, and preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons for Class XI and XII Commerce stream, adhering strictly to the CBSE curriculum.
- Board Preparation: Prepare students for board examinations through mock tests, revision sessions, and remedial classes.
- Student Assessment: Conduct examinations, evaluate papers, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Active Learning: Integrate digital tools, case studies, and real-world examples to make lessons interactive.
- Mentorship: Guide students on higher education paths in commerce, finance, and management.
- Administrative Duties: Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Commerce or relevant subject (Economics, Accountancy) from a recognized university.
- Certification: Bachelor of Education is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching senior secondary levels in a reputed CBSE school.
- Competence: Excellent subject knowledge in Accountancy and Business Studies.
- Pedagogy: Strong classroom management skills and familiarity with modern pedagogical techniques.
