Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Program Implementation
- Anchor a dynamic team with a strategy to scale the impact of the program across Maharashtra
- Establish plans for effective program delivery, review implementation and monitor the outcomes as per the agreed standards
- Piloting the state program by building effective strategy and ensuring the deliverables are met as per the timelines
- Manage and execute the virtual engagement and content curation for the region with aim to create a positive impact on the program
- Build partnerships and maintain relationships with officials and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with concerned stakeholders for engagement to leverage the objectives of the program
- Research, develop and present the feedback and outcomes of the program to support with constant improvement
- Train and support the facilitators to develop their skills and monitor their performance
- Drive experimentation and innovation strategies of effective implementation of the program
- Ensuring a positive impact of the program on the teacher’s and keeping a track of the same through weekly reports and observation of their classes
Support functions for Program Implementation
- Coordinate with communications team to ensure project updates are mentioned on social media
- Support with creating project videos and creatives
- Liaise with govt officials and leads to ensure that relevant government authorities are updated on time
Field Visits and Reporting
- Responsible for preparation and compilation of reports
- Collect feedback by working extensively in the field
Data Analysis and Data Management
- Analysing the data for data quality
- Activity wise data analysis and presentation of the same
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor and review program process
- Collect and document reports on feedback, case studies from external and internal stakeholders
- Ensure effective data collection and presentation to suggest interventions where required
- Track program progress based on M&E evaluation
- Ensure timelines for the project are met with
People Management
- Support team members and facilitators by goal setting and developing KRA’s
- Review and update the JDs to provide clarity to the roles and deliverables of the program
- Participate in planning team building activities and team performance reviews
- Provide professional development to the team members by supporting, mentoring and coaching them
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Skills:
- Proficiency in English language (written and verbal communication skills)
- Working knowledge of Marathi language
- Team manager who can work effectively with peers, subordinates and senior managers
- Excellent technical skills including Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google functions
- Ability to network and build relationships with government officials
- Prior knowledge of training adults
- Ability to adapt quickly
Experience
- Prior work experience in development sector of around 5 years
- Passion of working in the education sector
Qualifications
- A post graduate degree in any discipline
- Or equivalent diploma in social sector management
