Our client provides diagnostic solutions (systems, reagents, software, services) which determine the source of disease and contamination to improve patient health and ensure consumer safety. Its products are mainly used for diagnosing infectious diseases. They are also used for detecting microorganisms in agri-food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Also listed on the Euronext Paris stock market.
Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job (to be defined in only one sentence):
Drive South Asia demand and replenishment planning for equipment, reagents and spares.
Main Accountabilities (list key missions: 6 maximum, use action verbs):
- Conduct monthly S&OP meeting, build up an efficient communication channel between local, regional and global supply chain and commercial business team.
- Maintain forecast for Equipment and reagents with consensus from marketing , S&OP output, ensure high level of forecast quality.
- Closely monitor the supply performance, manage process to track shipment until receiving in stock at the warehouse.
- Assist in setting and implementing inventory policies to ensure the right level of inventory is maintained through a stable replenishment plan.
- Manage planning objectives, KPI, ensuring good performance within the budget
- Develop and manage the planning team, provide guidance, coaching, best practice sharing to enable continuous improvement.
- Promote VMI to distributors, to increase communication efficiency and influence with sustainable inventory management.

Experience, Skill set and Education:
Education and Experience:
– Master’s degree in supply chain, logistics or international business is preferred
– At least 10 years working experience in planning at a managerial level.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Good understanding of S&OP process and inventory management
– Good command over Microsoft Office & SAP
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills
– Self-driven and agile
– Familiar with import/export documentation and processes.
Scope and Resources Accountability:
- Manage a team of 3 people.

- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Forecast Quality, Scrap and OTIF.
