Educational qualification for counselor – The candidate needs to be Masters in Clinical / Counselling psychology from a recognised university. (Regular, full time courses)
Job Description

• School psychologists will provide counselling, mentoring, and instructional services to help promote wellness by reinforcing life skills session.
• Identify / attend students with special needs or students requiring counselling.
• Performing psychological assessments (I.Q, Projective techniques, etc)
• Students who are facing learning disabilities, school psychologists will also help increase achievement by assessing their abilities and devising the best instructional strategies for optimal learning.
• Frequently collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other professionals to strengthen connections between home and school for students.
• Evaluating eligibility for special education services, teaching parenting skills, making referrals to help coordinate community support, designing student progress monitoring systems, and implementing school-wide prevention programs.
• Help student prepare for academic achievement , ensure career readiness and develop personal and social competencies through a comprehensive, preventive and developmental counselling program.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Qualification: MA/BA in Psychology

Experience: 1 to 4 years

Should be an immediate joiner.

Should be a female only & below the age of 45 years only.

Should have relevant qualifications and experience in teaching of at least 1 year or so.

Should be comfortable in reporting to school daily.

Salary: 18K CTC to 30K CTC [ depending on the grades ]
