We are in need of a Master Academic Reviewer(Academic Validators) to review concept-wise interactive scripts/coobos.

This involves writing and reviewing scripts/coobos that can be converted into high-quality 3D interactive animations and videos. An ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing digital content that achieves learning outcomes while increasing interest, curiosity, and engagement. This position requires a high level of creative thinking, along with academic perfection. The position involves working with a team of creative academic content writers, some of whom may be working remotely from different time zones.

The successful candidate needs to be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.

Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio and at least a bachelors degree in science, math, engineering, or pharmaceutical science. The candidate should also have a good grasp of how to gauge the complexity of vocabulary and grammar for the target age group. Experience in writing or editing writing for children is a plus.

Compensation will be commensurate with the industry standards and will be based on usable outputs delivered. For the right candidate, there is a high earning potential, as rewards are linked to output.

Job responsibilities:

The candidate should:

• Review creative scripts/coobos for explainer videos or interactive lessons to teach science & mathematics concepts to students in grades 6-12.
• Structure the language to ensure an exciting, engaging, and conversational script during the review process, while paying attention to grammar, factual accuracy, and narrative flow.
• Review and approve academically correct scripts/coobos using a custom authoring tool on our platform, while adhering to our brand and style guidelines and pedagogical method, within strict deadlines. Training in the use of the tool will be provided.
• Brainstorm regularly with the editorial team for new ideas and strategies to build effective and engaging content for the end-users, and provide guidance to remote team members (if applicable) on their day-to-day writing assignments.
• Proofread incidental text, titles, captions, etc. before delivering the final script to the lead reviewers.
• Review media assets (pictures, graphs, 3D assets, animations, etc.) and artwork leveraged in the scripts/coobos to ensure their alignment with the relevant topic.
• Be able to communicate effectively with team members working both in-house and remotely.

Candidate Requirement:

• A degree in Mathematics or Science or a related discipline.
• A masters degree in education or media development would be an added advantage.
• People with engineering, paramedical, and pharmaceutical science degrees will also be considered.
• Candidate should have a strong command of MS Office Suite & Google Docs.
• Experience with a Content Management System or other authoring tools would be an added advantage.
• Candidate should have prior experience of a minimum of 3 years, working as a teacher at JEE Main/NEET level.
• Experience in using interactive tools for teaching mathematics and science is an added advantage.
• Candidate should have strong English writing skills and grasp of grammar, while also understanding how much the rules can be relaxed for spoken language, and how to edit for a fun conversational style while writing.
• A good grasp of how to gauge the complexity of vocabulary and grammar for the target age group.
• Experience reviewing academic content for children, or any other work with non-fiction, textbooks, or academic content, is a plus.
