About The Role

At Procys, we create algorithms that benefit the world of accounting by automatically extracting booking data from invoices. For such an algorithm, the learning dataset consists of two parts – an invoice file itself and a structured text file with booking data. Data annotation is a process of generating such text files from original invoice files. You will work in our web interface to label and transcribe invoices in the dataset. At the same time, our learning engine will regularly pick up your training data to improve the accuracy of the underlying algorithm. Thus, this role is vital to improving the algorithm’s accuracy and saving time for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Labelling incoming documents with text data;
• Tagging invoice lines and other data in the invoices;
• Sharing feedback with ML team on web interface and the annotation process in general;

What Competencies We Are Looking For

• Accounting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge about basic annotation tools (Prodigy, Label Studio or etc).
• Not scared of routine work.
• Good organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• High sense of input quality requirements needed for AI/ML models.
• Basic math for invoice line calculations.
• Fluent in English OR Spanish

Nice to have

• Higher education in data science, data entry, and data analysis.
• Any language from the list: Dutch, German, French.
• Basic knowledge of European VAT and B2B invoicing.
