Qualifications
Masters in Psychology with 3-4 Years of Experience in handling school students

Should have intense passion to create an impact in students life and must be excellent in communication.

Responsibilities
1

Training Program Planning
a

Establish and organise training program as per the the curriculum given
b

Formulate a plan of action and program evaluations.
c

Capability to implement inspirational project involving students, teachers, and management.
c

Initiate and coordinate school-wide guidance and training activities.
d

Seek input from teachers and staff in making decisions about the school programs.
e

Execute Individual Care plan if required.
f

Provide counselling, instruction, and mentoring for those struggling with social , emotional , and behavioural problem
g

Promote social skills, problem solving, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism programs to students.
h

Provide individual and group training services to meet the developmental, preventive, and remedial needs of students.
i

Demonstrate knowledge of counselling theories and use appropriate assessment and diagnostic procedures for determining and structuring individual and group counseling services
j

Assists parents, In Charges and teachers in understanding and responding to developmental levels of students
k

Present instructional/informational programs to group of students, parents, and teachers (e.g., parent education programs, group guidance, teacher in-service).
l

Increase children’s confidence and gain their trust to share their problems, help them cope with painful emotions, and deal with their difficulties in institutional life.
m

Encourage and motivate the children through behavior modification exercises
n

Follow the laws, policies, and procedures which govern programs

Participate in professional development activities to improve knowledge and skills

Maintain an organized, functional, and up-to-date reports
