Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Online Tutor. The Online Tutor will be responsible for preparing and delivering virtual lessons, creating tailored learning materials, tracking and evaluating student progress, and assisting students in achieving their academic and personal learning goals. The role includes using an interactive and student-focused approach to facilitate learning in an engaging online environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in instructional techniques, virtual teaching tools, and online platforms
- Strong knowledge in the subject-specific content; ability to create lesson plans and effective learning resources
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Time-management, organization, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
- Relevant qualifications in teaching or expertise in specific subject areas
- Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues during remote sessions
- Previous online teaching or coaching experience preferred
- Passion for fostering a positive learning environment
