Role Description
This is a part-time remote position for an Online Scratch/Block-Based Programming Mentor catering to the UK shift. The mentor will deliver engaging and interactive online lessons using Scratch and other block-based programming platforms. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, guiding students through coding concepts, assessing their progress, and providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Training skills, with an ability to engage with young learners effectively.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Research abilities to present concepts clearly and solve student queries.
- Strong Writing skills for creating lesson materials and explanatory documentation.
- Experience with Scratch or block-based programming tools is preferred.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, accommodating the UK shift timeline.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field is a plus.
Note – This role requires you to deliver 5 hours of teaching every day 08:30 AM to 01:30 AM IST
