Nanavati School, located in Vile Parle, Mumbai, is seeking a qualified and experienced Freelance Computer Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer technology, coupled with a passion for teaching primary and secondary school children. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative computer science lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students develop a solid foundation in computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Computer Science Classes: Design and deliver interactive and age-appropriate computer science lessons for primary and secondary school students.
- Create Engaging Curriculum: Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and incorporates innovative teaching methodologies to keep students motivated and interested.
- Hands-On Learning: Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, including practical exercises, projects, and activities that reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Adapt to Student Needs: Tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and adapt to the individual needs of students.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring discipline and effective management of student behavior.
- Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Keep accurate records of student performance.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest developments in computer technology and education, incorporating relevant advancements into lesson plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field.
- 1-2 years of teaching experience with primary and secondary school students.
- Proficiency in computer technology and software relevant to the school curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
