Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Online Chess Coach at Unique Wellness Institute. The Online Chess Coach will conduct virtual chess sessions for children aged 5 to 16, using structured lesson plans tailored to different skill levels. Responsibilities include teaching fundamental and advanced chess concepts, analyzing games, assigning practice tasks, and tracking learner progress. The coach will communicate regularly with parents or guardians, provide feedback on development, and adjust training plans to support both competitive and recreational goals. Additional tasks may include preparing learning materials, contributing to program improvements, and maintaining accurate records of sessions and student performance.
Qualifications

• Excellent english & Urdu communication is mandatory.
• Strong chess knowledge, including openings, tactics, strategy, and endgames, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to beginners and intermediate players.
• Experience in online teaching, coaching, or mentoring, ideally with children or young learners in the 5–16 age group.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with patience, empathy, and a supportive, learner-centered approach.
• Ability to design and follow structured lesson plans, set goals, and monitor learner progress over time.
• Comfort with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital resources for interactive learning.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing a full-time remote schedule and maintaining detailed records.
• Prior coaching certifications, tournament experience, or a recognized chess rating (national or international) are preferred but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent experience in coaching, education, or youth development is an advantage.
