Position Summary:
NxtWave is seeking a visionary Head of Sales – Offline Expansion to spearhead our foray into the offline edtech market. This role is pivotal in driving our offline growth strategy, ensuring that our educational programs reach students beyond the digital space. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in offline sales, a strong understanding of the Indian education market, and a proven track record of scaling businesses through brick-and-mortar channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offline Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a robust offline sales strategy that aligns with NxtWave’s overall business objectives. Focus on expanding into new geographic regions and establishing a strong offline presence.
- Channel Expansion & Management: Identify and establish partnerships with educational institutions, coaching centers, and retail outlets to distribute NxtWave’s programs. Build and manage a network of offline channels to drive sales and brand presence.
- Market Penetration: Develop strategies for penetrating new markets and expanding our offline footprint. Tailor approaches to meet the unique needs and challenges of different regions across India.
- Customer Engagement & Acquisition: Drive initiatives to attract and engage students and parents through offline channels. Develop marketing and sales campaigns that resonate with local communities and drive enrollment.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing offline sales team. Provide direction, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the logistics and operations of offline expansion, including setting up physical locations, managing inventory, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Brand Building: Enhance NxtWave’s brand visibility in offline markets through strategic marketing, events, and partnerships. Ensure consistent messaging and brand integrity across all offline touchpoints.
- Frugal Mindset: Drive cost-effective offline initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources while achieving maximum impact.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on offline expansion, preferably in the education or related industry.
- Extensive experience in building and scaling offline sales channels, including partnerships with educational institutions and retail networks.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian education market, particularly in offline segments.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets through offline channels.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with a hands-on approach.
- Frugal mindset with a focus on maximizing resources and driving efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
