Job description

Were looking for an organized and self-driven Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team at our company. The Accounts Payable Manager position will work closely with our accounts payable manager, accounts payable assistants and operations personnel and lead accounts payable team.

What will you be doing ?

P2P

• Negotiating payment terms with vendors and suppliers
• Oversee Commercials aspects of Procurement contracts
• Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
• Ensuring accuracy of financial transactions
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management
• Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.

Accounts Receivable

• Control over monthly receivables
• Revenue/collection reconciliation with payment gateways, clients, partners etc.
• Reconciliation of customer accounts on a periodic basis

Team

• Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders.
• Implementing corrective measures to facilitate departmental objectives and goals
• Responsible for developing and communicating team or department vision and goals.
• Manage, coach, mentor, train and evaluate performance of the Accounts Payable team members
• Identify gaps in the control and establish process to address them
• Identify areas of significant process improvements both for efficiency and effectiveness
• Following the required frameworks/ tools and making sure the team adheres to them
• Managing group workload and establishing priorities.
• Significantly participates in recruiting efforts. Continually raises the bar.

Accounting

• Review and approve all AP & TE related manual journal entries for all entities
• Review and approve all AP & TE reconciliations for all entities
• NetSuite

General

• Ensure that all month end tasks are performed
• Perform ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time
• Performing other duties as and when required

What are we looking for?

• 4 to 5 years experience in handling accounts payable
• Exhibiting responsibility & accountability for all the duties
• Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately, comply with deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion.
• Internal and external customer focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to apply policies and standards consistently.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines.
• A close observation of accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
• Experience with Google Suite, especially Google Sheets, Tally, Oracle NetSuite
• Flexible to work for all branches of the organization

Languages Known:

Proficiency with English and Telugu(Optional)

Salary: Rs. 6,00,000/- to 9,00,000/– per annum

Work location: Currently Hyderabad. Should be flexible to work in any Companys office locations when needed.

Working days: 6 days a week
