Job Description: Change Management Trainer with Lending Experience

Position Overview:

As a Change Management Trainer with lending experience, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deliver training programs aimed at facilitating successful organizational change initiatives within the lending industry. You will play a crucial role in helping employees adapt to and embrace changes in lending processes, technologies, regulations, and organizational structures. Your expertise in change management principles, lending practices, and training methodologies will enable you to create impactful learning experiences that promote understanding, engagement, and effective implementation of change.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including project managers, change management teams, lending professionals, and subject matter experts, to identify training needs and objectives for lending-related change initiatives.
  • Design comprehensive training programs that address the specific requirements of each lending change initiative.
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and other supporting documentation, with a focus on lending best practices and regulatory compliance.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at various levels within the lending organization.
  • Utilize a range of training methods and techniques, such as instructor-led training, workshops, role-playing, and simulations, to ensure effective learning and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt training delivery approaches to suit different learning styles and audiences, while incorporating lending industry-specific examples and case studies.

Change Communication:

  • Collaborate with the change management team to develop and deliver change-related communication materials specific to lending initiatives, including updates on lending policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Incorporate lending-specific change messages and updates into training materials to ensure consistent messaging throughout the change process.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders in the lending organization, including lending managers, compliance officers, and other lending professionals.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to lending stakeholders to address their concerns and ensure their active participation in the lending change process.
  • Conduct follow-up sessions and provide coaching to reinforce learning and address individual lending-related needs.

Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Collect and analyze training feedback to continuously improve training programs and delivery methods, particularly as they relate to lending practices and regulations.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of lending-related training initiatives by assessing employee knowledge, skills, and attitudes before and after training sessions.
  • Make recommendations for enhancements to lending-specific training content and delivery based on evaluation results.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology, human resources, training and development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in change management, preferably in the lending industry, with a focus on lending practices and regulations.
  • Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices within the lending context.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences within the lending industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with lending stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in instructional design techniques and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design software is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple lending-related projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mind-set with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement within the lending industry.
