Responsibilities:

• Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate classes and assist with curricular/program assessment, evaluation, and development.
• Create and teach courses according to department and institution standards.
• Establish a robust research program, supported by a strong publication record and securing external funding.
• Participate in service activities at the department and institution, as well as the appropriate professional organizations and societies.
• Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to every day work.
• Leverage technology to improve teaching, learning and student engagement.
• Develop and maintain student and departmental records according to VTU regulations.
• Obtain grant funding for research projects and support student research.
• Provide feedback on student learning, including identifying student needs, evaluating teaching methods and improving learning outcomes.
• Promote the institution academic and social programs

Skills Required:

· Masters/Ph. D in computer science, Computer Engineering, Informatics.

· Experience teaching in an institution of higher education.

· Strong technical background and aptitude for teaching

· Possesses subject matter expertise and knowledge

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to conduct collaborative research across disciplines.

· Versatility and experience to teach foundational as well as advanced computing courses to diverse students.

· Experience with research proposal writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹60,000.00 – ₹175,000.00 per month
