Job Description:

Job Title: Learning and Development Trainer

Position Overview: As a Learning and Development Trainer at NIIT, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and facilitating comprehensive learning programs to enhance the skills and talents of individuals across various business units. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for learning and a keen understanding of adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and develop engaging and effective learning programs that align with the organizational needs and the current industry trends.
  • Create a variety of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, and multimedia content.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for diverse audiences, ensuring that the content is delivered effectively and meets the learning objectives.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles.

Needs Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Work closely with the business unit leaders to customize training programs that address their specific needs and objectives.

Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather participant feedback and adjust training content and methods accordingly.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Technology Integration:

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in learning and development.
  • Integrate innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs.

Professional Development:

  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in learning and development.
  • Continuously enhance personal and professional skills through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Trainer, preferably in a skill and talent development context.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in utilizing e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Certifications in training and development are a plus.
