The Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the educational institution. They are responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks, managing resources, and providing support to both students and staff. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment.
Experience: 2-5 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the administrative office.
· Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance as needed.
· Student Support:
· Assist students with inquiries, registrations, and document submissions.
· Maintain student records and databases.
· Coordinate student events and activities.
· Staff Support:
· Assist teachers and faculty with administrative tasks.
· Manage and maintain staff records and HR-related documents.
· Resource Management:
· Monitor and order office supplies and educational materials.
· Oversee facility maintenance and repairs.
· Financial Management:
· Assist in budgeting and financial record-keeping.
· Handle fee collection and manage accounts payable/receivable.
· Communication:
· Act as a point of contact for parents, students, and external stakeholders.
· Assist in organizing meetings and maintaining communication channels.
· Compliance:
· Ensure that the institution adheres to relevant educational regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, education, or a related field).
· 2-5 years of administrative experience, with prior experience in the education industry being advantageous.
· Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and administrative software.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Knowledge of educational policies and regulations in India (preferred).
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
