About the role

The overall objective of this position is to promote Brunel University London Pathway College  and the University as a study destination to prospective students and recruitment partners in India. The Student Recruitment Manager (SRM) will work closely with the College to develop and execute strategic student recruitment plans to secure the respective enrolment targets. The position will require a student recruitment professional with solid sales and marketing experience to engage in student recruitment activities targeting key segments including agents, schools, parents, and others.

Key Result Areas:

• Co-develop and implement a student recruitment strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Navitas India, the University partner and college-based team(s), to achieve ambitious student enrolment targets by intake and pathway.
• Manage agent relationships in India as part of a shared portfolio based approach, engaging in constant contact, applying strong account management approaches, training and support to help generate high quality applications.
• Coordinate and where applicable attend student recruitment and conversion events (online and in person). Bringing a cross-selling mind-set and approach throughout.
• The SRM would lead on the end-to-end elements of the student recruitment journey and deeply involved in the conversion process leading and through to enrolment stage. Conversion rates will be a key performance indicator.
• Support the Head of Student Recruitment and other stakeholders to develop and articulate the value proposition of the College / University.
• Providing regular reporting on recruitment activities, monitoring effectiveness of strategies and adapting approach to market conditions and competitor intelligence. Where needed, submitting proposals, with data and analysis, to the Head of Student Recruitment to improve the overall offer to the market.
• Assist the Head of Student Recruitment in providing market insight and accurate sales forecasts through regular and detailed reports with input from different sources, accounting for regulatory changes and product trends, reviewing spend and results from previous period, ensuring the College and the University partner are aligned in terms of strategy and plans.
• Work with the Head of Student Recruitment and wider teams to ensure the College remains within UK-national and internal guidelines for compliance – GDPR, UKVI, CMA and others.

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in recruiting students for a UK higher education institution.
• A proven track record of meeting ambitious student recruitment targets from India.
• Able to reflect, assess and develop recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment targets by intake.
• Ability to gather market intelligence, access and use data and analysis to support business decision making.
• Ability to create and articulate value propositions in a clear and compelling way to a wide range of audiences.
• Able to plan and execute multi-channel lead generation and conversion campaigns by intake.
• Able to engage with recruitment agents to drive business growth.
• Able to positively influence stakeholders and manage conflicts.
• Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the impact of marketing and recruitment activities and report appropriately.
• Experience of managing budgets and demonstrating return on investment.
• Knowledge of Home Office/UKVI requirements.

Desirable:

• Postgraduate / master’s degree holder.
• Experience influence stakeholders across the organization to meet recruitment objectives.
• Ability to work in a team to inspire / influence team members to explore and engage in all avenues of marketing and student recruitment.
