ENGLISH TEACHERS – MIDDLE SCHOOL

 

Grades 5 – 8

 

NPS Yelahanka is looking for English Teachers at the Middle School level who can drive and develop our English programme.

 

Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree

A Master’s degree would be an advantage.

Should have a degree in education.

Should have prior teaching experience of at least 4-5 years

Should be passionate about literature and learning

Should be able work independently and be a self starter

Should be a team player and have a sense of humour

Responsibilities

Implement a literature programme that exposes high school students to contemporary and classic literature

Develop and implement a writing programme with focus on composition and critical analysis

Develop speaking and listening skills in students through debates, classroom discussions and interviews.

Develop and implement a robust programme in grammar, syntax and mechanics
