We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong command of the subject matter and will be responsible for teaching physics and chemistry as per the CBSE curriculum at the [middle/high] school level.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.Prepare, administer, and grade assessments to monitor student progress.Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their understanding.Maintain a conducive, safe, and interactive learning environment in the classroom and laboratory.Supervise lab activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety norms, and maintain and manage lab equipment.Communicate regularly with parents about their childs performance and address any concerns or issues that may arise.Participate in professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, and refresher courses to stay updated with the latest CBSE guidelines and changes in the curriculum.Qualifications:A Bachelors degree in education (B.Ed) with a specialization in physical science. A Masters degree in a related field is preferred.CTET or relevant state TET certification preferred.Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school is a plus.Strong command over physics and chemistry, and knowledge of the CBSE curriculum.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.Proficiency with the tools, technologies, and methodologies used in contemporary science teaching, including virtual or online learning platforms.Interested candidates are invited to apply with a detailed CV and cover letter.
