Teachers at Openhouse deliver engaging, high-quality Music classes for children while taking ownership of student progress, parent experience, and the overall learning environment. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy introducing children to rhythm, melody, and musical expression in a fun and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality classes: Prepare for and conduct Music classes using the Openhouse curriculum, facilitating activities such as singing, rhythm exercises, and basic musical concepts.
2. Track student development: Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and provide meaningful feedback to parents and the management team through regular updates and progress reports.
3. Support the learning community: Interact with parents during feedback sessions, workshops, and events, and collaborate with the management team to support student trials and admissions when required.
4. Lead showcases and events: Prepare students for performances and events, conduct rehearsals, and participate in training and team meetings.
Time Commitment:
1. Any 5 days of the week (20 hours per week, 4 hours each day you choose).
2. Weekday Timings: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
3. Weekend Timings: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Location:
1. Classes are conducted across Bangalore at learning centers or apartment complexes.
2. The location will be assigned according to your preference.

Other requirements
1. Individuals passionate about teaching music to children.
2. Strong musical ability in 2 out of the following – ukulele/guitar, keyboards, drums, western vocals.
3. Willingness to work with children aged 5-12.
4. Ability to engage young learners through rhythm, songs, and musical activities.
5. Prior experience teaching music and formal music education/certification is preferred.
