m2r Education are working in partnership with Cochin International Language Academy (CILA), based in Kerala, Southern India.

CILA were established in and are the ONLY provider of the Trinity College London CERTTESOL and Dip TESOL in India. Over students have graduated from their courses, as well as + students who have received IELTS qualifications.

They now have a fantastic internship opportunity and are looking for enthusiastic and committed UK graduates who would like to come to Kerala, qualify as an English Language Teacher with a globally recognised qualification and then spend 9 months teaching English at local schools there. Where is Kerala?

Kerala is a coastal state in Southern India with over m of shoreline. It is known for its palm lined beaches, backwaters and canals. The weather is always warm and it is incredibly safe.

What is the Trinity College London CertTESOL?

The Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Trinity CertTESOL) is an internationally accepted teaching qualification. It is a Level 5 on Ofqual’s Regulated Qualifications Framework, a comparable level to the second year of an undergraduate degree and is particularly recommended for anyone looking to enter the field of teaching English or master their English language skills, especially as a foreign or second language. The Trinity College London CertTESOL is accepted by both the British Council and other international teaching organisations around the world as an English language teaching certification.

What are the joining dates?

You would need to be available to join either on the 18th March or 29th April. Your Trinity TESOL course will last approx. 5 weeks and then you will start to teach! Your teaching internship will last 9 months and you will get full support from local teachers and experienced Trinity TESOL trainers. At the end of your internship, CILA will also give you an all expenses paid, 5 day holiday to show you the sights of Kerala!

Your role as a teacher:

Teaching maximum 5hrs per day Monday to Friday Self motivated and very respectful students aged between 4 – 15
