Role/Responsibilities
The VP,VP/SCO Compliance Training will: 1) partner with compliance, regulatory affairs and legal staff, policy content owners, business managers, learning organizations and others to identify compliance and regulatory training needs, develop and maintain corresponding training materials and courses and deliver or support the delivery of live (virtual or physical) training and scenario-based WBT as needed. This role will contribute significantly to forming and implementing the department’s strategic vision for policy curriculum development The VP role will 2) manage and oversee all operational functions of the Training department including LMS administration, course deployments, reporting, reconciliations, metrics and course retirements using the Cornerstone on Demand learning management system; . and 3) work with key subject matter experts, senior managers and other training organizations, internal and external to Moody’s to provide training and other resources to address gaps in the compliance officer curriculum.
The incumbent in this hands-on role will:
Manage and/or conduct:
Production of periodic reports on training activity for regulatory and senior management
Additionally the incumbent in the role will:
-Develop pre- and post-training assessment questions based on course learning objectives to measure learning transfer and document results
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years’ experience developing, delivering and facilitating training in a corporate environment, with 5 years in a management role. Experience in compliance or regulatory training a plus. Experience developing courses for a global audience. Must have strong project and team management skills and experience.
- BA or Master’s degree (preferred) in instructional design, instructional technology, HRD, or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in instructional design and training methodologies in the following areas:
- Adult learning theory
- Learning Needs Analysis
- Content Analysis
- Writing Learning objectives
- Application exercises / Interactivity
- Curriculum design
- Learning Assessments
- Course Evaluation (Kirkpatrick)
- Proficient in drafting storyboards and instructional content; hand-on instructional design experience
