Job Description:

Provide strategic Research Leadership to the organization in the areas of IQAC

3. Key Accountability

Strategic

Development and application of quality benchmarks.

Creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education

Operational

Faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for

participatory teaching and learning process

Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders

Promotion of quality circles

Adoption and dissemination of best practices

Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.

To Prepare Calendar for IQAC for the academic year.

To Prepare the Annual budget for IQAC.

To oversee the smooth function of the IQAC.

Recognition of meritorious faculty based on achievements.

Carry out any other function as assign by the Vice Chancellor/ Pro Vice-Chancellor

Financial and Budget

Oversee all financial decisions of the office including setting and monitoring budgets, and ensuring clear, independent financial audit.

Collaborations

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the different stake holders in the organization

developing networks between the research centre and researchers in the field in the public and private sectors, locally, nationally and internationally;

where applicable, developing mutually beneficial linkages with industry in order to develop partnerships and collaborative research;

Research

Conduct market research studies & implement best practices in the areas of IQAC

Academic

regular communication of research center activities and opportunities for faculty and students involvement

External Representation

Represent MIT WPU on various professional bodies of repute which is value adding building relationship with the community, government agencies, society at large and with ultimate objective of building MIT WPU brand

Substantial leadership and management experience

Able to provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all programs and services, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs

External relations and Corporate engagement

The ability to advocate at the highest levels regionally and nationally on behalf of the University and to influence the decision maker.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

Professor, Senior Academician with 15+ years of experience in Ranking & Accreditation

Postgraduate / Ph.D. from Premier Institute

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

High level sophistication and maturity in social and professional settings

Ability to effectively manage and evaluate the day-to-day work, assign the responsibilities; oversee the assignments to ensure the work is done accurately and timely; and provide personal development

Ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a diverse multicultural environment

Ability to manage multiple projects; flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
