Key requirements for Assistant Professor position:

1. Knowledge and Proficiency in Motion Picture Photography or

Cinematography.

2. Knowledge of Indian & International Cinema.

3. To conduct theory classes in respective subjects of Cinematography and to

conduct practical classes of Cinematography as well as common Course as

per departmental requirements.

4. To guide student on one-to-one basis.

5. To assist in carrying out the functions relating to the educational

responsibilities including coordination and supervision.

6. To prepare and publish class / practical / workshop schedules of the department.

7. To supervise academic practical / workshop / exercises / projects of the

students and provide theoretical & practical knowledge with assessment.

8. To coordinate and carry out assignments for study tour / fieldwork /

workshops as may be necessary for the courses.

9. To carry out assignments with regards to the entrance examination

/admission of the students.

10. To help in maintaining Academic Discipline in the department.

11. To perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned to

her/him by Head of Department, Deputy Director, Additional Director, and

MIT ADT University Officials, from time to time.
