For this role, we seek an experienced software engineer who loves building and driving the rapid execution of a v1 product that aims to solve our customer and educator’s needs. As a part of this role, you will work closely with a global team of data scientists, software engineers, machine learning engineers and product managers to build a best-in-class service that wins the hearts and minds of end users.

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD with work or research experience in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of programming experience in C++ OR C# OR Java
• 4+ years of programming experience with web technologies: TypeScript (incl. React, Angular, or Vue)

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

• Sound problem-solving skills with strong system sensibilities
• Proficient in C++, C#, Java or other high-level languages.
• Proficient in TypeScript, React or other web technologies.
• Good understanding of database system internals, query processing, storage systems.
• Experience in building and shipping production grade software or services.
• High enthusiasm, integrity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
• Work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions, celebrate successes.
• Solve problems by always leading with deep passion and empathy for customers.
• Knowledge on cloud development, particularly Azure tech (Functions, Event Grid, Micro-services, Cosmos DB, etc.)

We’re looking for a person with full stack engineer who is ready to jump in and be a key contributor on the team, in order to:

• Implement efficient and reusable systems that drive complex web applications.
• Implement scalable backend data platforms on Azure using native cloud technologies, C# and .net framework.
• Define, design, and implement complex services and experiences with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, scalability, and maintainability. 
• Implement Desktop or mobile web interfaces using latest UI frameworks.
• Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products.
• Build engaging end-to-end customer experiences across various Microsoft ecosystems.
