Applications are invited for: “Financial Reporting and Analysis, Cost Management, Corporate Finance and Personal Finance”

Function:

Research Assistants/Associates (RAs) shall assist the faculty in preparing course outline, identifying and collecting reading material (from libraries and other sources), developing teaching notes, grading of class participation, grading of quizzes, examinations, assignments, group projects etc. They shall also be responsible for coordinating with programme office for arranging for exams/quizzes, distribution of course material and perform any other related activities of the institute. Sometimes there are guest faculties involved in teaching courses along with the main faculty. Coordination work with them shall also be a KRA of the RA. RAs may require to assist the faculty in their research work besides working for their own research and academic endeavours. This would include aspects like literature search and review, data collection etc. Institute facilitates those who are with Ph. D. registration towards completing their Ph.D.

Currently we are looking for RAs with subject knowledge in Financial Reporting and Analysis, Cost Management, Corporate Finance and Personal Finance.

Qualification and Experience:

1. First class MBA with specialization in Finance, CA/ CMA or M. Com with an aptitude for finance subjects, with a willingness to pursue PhD may also apply.

2. Having basic understanding of research methodology, methods, Research tools and techniques, SPSS, STATA etc. with 1-4 years’ experience either in academics/ industry/ or assisting in research large funded research projects of universities/ institutions.

3. Excellent IT skills (MS Office and internet use) with MS Excel are a must.

4. Good written and oral communication skills are a must for the role as it involves lot of coordination and communication with different stakeholders.

5. Freshers with excellent academic record can also apply.

Stipend – Research Assistants /Associates: – Depending on qualification, experience, merit and performance in the interview. It can range from INR30000-INR40000 per month

Duration: Appointments will be made purely on a contract basis for a period of three years (annually renewable contract and remuneration revision based on a performance review) and extendable to five years for those who register for Ph.D. (Exceptional candidates and exceptional situations would be treated differently)
