Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support state side team on various FP&A reports & analyze/report major highlights in various financial statements & reports.
• Support to planning and budgeting activities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual reporting. Reporting includes management reports, footnote, MD&A disclosures.
• Prepare, Create, process, and analyze variance reports for various Legal Entities and creating Summary Walks for manager’s review.
• Work within Teams and come up with improvement opportunities.
• Support manager on CMMI documentation.
• Align and coordinate with legal entity and segment controllers on variance analysis.
• Communicate and coordinate impacts across all stakeholders (Finance, Internal Controls)
• Plan workflow for all deliverables in advance of quarter end.
• Complete special requests and ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Analyze data and process flows to improve accuracy.
• Interaction with various levels of management across different departments within the organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

• Graduate/MBA with accounting background and specialization in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is required.
• An eye for intermediate accounting and analytical skills to analyze requirement and set proactive approach
• Candidate from financial service or insurance industry will be preferred.

Experience

• 2-3 years (CA Inter) & 4-5 years (MBA/Graduate) of total experience (minimum 3 years in Accounting, Reporting & Analytics)

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

• Intermediate knowledge of FP&A domain.
• Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation and disclosures.
• Relevant systems knowledge (MS Office, MS Excel, PS Ledger, CUBUS, EPBCS, Cognos, Etc.)
• Ensure that the assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA and Internal standards.
• Requires a high degree of professionalism, sound judgment and discretion in communications with internal and external parties.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, solve problems and ability to meet deadlines are required.
• Must be able to work with multiple departments in the compilation of data and the reporting of financial information.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication, proficiency in English language.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good Team Player
