About The Role: Regional Sales Manager – Endo Surgery Division (Suture, Mesh, Basic Stapler)

Location: Cochin/Ahmadabad

Your Day at Meril:

As a Regional Sales Manager (Corporate accounts Segment) at Meril, you will be responsible for achieving regional sales target, with a bias towards ensuring that product wise and individual team member’s sales targets are also achieved.

  • You will be instrumental in achieving our sales and profitability goals for the assigned area/territory.
  • Implementing strategic sales activities to meet and exceed budgeted sales targets.
  • Supporting Sales Managers in promoting our products to individual doctors and hospitals within the assigned region.
  • Training, counseling, motivating and skill development of the team members.
  • Efficiently managing and showcasing the company’s demo units in the territory.
  • Providing prompt solutions to product-related issues for customers.
  • Collaborating and cooperating with Sales Managers when required.
  • Identifying, developing, and managing diverse channels of business, including distributors and direct sales, within the area.
  • Offering customized solutions to customers based on techno-commercial discussions.
  • Upgrading existing customers to newer technologies.

Education Background and Key Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience. Overall sales experience of 10 years in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry, of which minimum 2 years in regional level supervisory position. Preferably worked in leading Indian or MNC company
  • Proven man-management, situation-handling, crisis management skills.
  • Ability to grasp clinical terminology and competence to communicate product features & benefits in a clinical environment with healthcare professionals.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-Driven and result oriented approach
