Positions are: Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager – Compliance & Legal

Experience: 3 to 9 years

Location: Andheri east, Mumbai

Working Days: 6 days (Mon-Sat) – WFO

Responsibilities

  • Ability to bring change management with large team
  • Bachelor’s degree with LLB / CS
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Compliance.
  • Strong analytical, interpretation and problem-solving skills with thorough / detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries/departments, being self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality. Responsibilities
  • Compliance Manager will have a primary responsibility for compliance policies and procedures, including identifying regulatory and business requirements in India and across the globe where Meril’s operates.
  • He/She will be responsible for drafting and obtaining approval for policies, establishing and executing internal controls, and establishing procedures to promote compliance with policies.
  • He/She will also closely support in providing advice and support to client service personnel and engagement teams regarding ethics and compliance policies and requirements.
  • Compliance Manager will also be involved in setting policies and Implementation of India and international compliance matters including the Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices Code 2022, NPPA, National Medical Commission Act, Prevention of Corruption Act and Foreign Corrupt Practice Act other applicable laws to Medical Device Industry.
  • Create and Implement Compliance Review Plan & Strategy for the Year.
  • Oversee compliance related audits, reviews and special assignments, including both design and operational assessments for the effectiveness of business processes that enable and support compliance.
  • Prepare risk assessments, analyze risk and recommend areas of emphasis for targeted audit procedures and full internal audits.
  • Develop & implement Compliance Policies, SOPs and Training Plan for relevant internal and external stakeholders along with Legal to ensure that the promotional activities of India and international Business are in line with the Regulatory Requirements.
  • Conduct Field visits to understand the market challenges which help in the designing of the SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate education or equivalent
  • Advantage if LLB
  • 3+ years’ of retail or equivalent management experience
  • Strong verbal or written communication skills
