Medi-Caps University is looking for a suitable candidate for the Senior Leadership Position (Academic & Administration)
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
(i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the any discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
(ii) A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC guidelines.

B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the Management discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
The Senior Leadership Position (Academics & Administration) KRAs:
Faculty Recruitment and Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies for recruiting highly qualified faculty members.
- Create a conducive environment for faculty development and job satisfaction to enhance retention.
Academic Planning and Program Development:
- Collaborate with academic departments to plan and develop new programs or modify existing ones.
- Ensure that academic programs align with institutional goals and accreditation standards.
Faculty Development:
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty members to enhance their teaching, research, and service capabilities.
- Encourage and support faculty members in pursuing advanced degrees, research projects, and other scholarly activities.
Performance Evaluation:
- Oversee the faculty evaluation process, including annual performance reviews and promotion and tenure evaluations.
- Ensure fair and transparent evaluation criteria and procedures.
Faculty Policies and Procedures:
- Develop and update faculty policies and procedures in line with institutional policies and legal requirements.
- Communicate policies and procedures to faculty members and address any concerns or issues.
- Workforce Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion among faculty members and create an inclusive environment.
- Support initiatives that enhance diversity and address any issues related to equity in the faculty.
Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve conflicts among faculty members or between faculty and administration.
- Implement mechanisms for open communication and conflict resolution.
Research and Publications:
- Encourage and support faculty research and publications.
- Facilitate opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
Community Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships between the faculty and the local community or professional organizations.
- Support initiatives that enhance the university’s reputation and contribute to community development.
Curriculum Development and Review:
- Ensure the development and continuous improvement of academic curricula.
- Regularly review and update curricular content to align with industry trends and standards.
Student Performance and Engagement:
- Monitor and analyze student academic performance.
- Implement strategies to enhance student engagement and success.
Quality Assurance and Accreditation:
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and documentation for accreditation processes.
Advisory and Counseling Services:
- Provide guidance to students on academic matters.
- Coordinate counseling services to support students’ overall well-being.
Collaboration with External Stakeholders:
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry, other educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external bodies for academic enhancements.
Technology Integration:
- Promote the integration of technology in academic processes.
- Ensure the availability of necessary technological resources for both faculty and students.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and policies.
- Develop and update academic policies as needed.
