Mathematics Teacher (Grades 11–12 | CBSE)

The Shishya BEML School is seeking a passionate and highly competent Mathematics Teacher for Grades 11-12 who can create a rigorous, engaging, and student-centered learning environment.
We are looking for educators who combine strong subject expertise with excellent classroom presence, board-exam readiness, and the ability to make Mathematics meaningful, structured, and enjoyable for adolescents.
The ideal candidate is someone who believes that Mathematics is not just about marks — but about building logic, resilience, analytical thinking, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Teach Mathematics for Grades 11 and 12 in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Deliver concept-driven lessons with clarity, depth, and strong problem-solving orientation.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and revision schedules.
- Support students in Board Examination preparation through structured practice and academic mentoring.
- Differentiate instruction to support varied learning levels within the classroom.
- Student Development & Academic Tracking
- Monitor academic progress through assessments, assignments, quizzes, and classroom observations.
- Identify students requiring remediation or enrichment and provide targeted support.
- Encourage mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, and independent learning habits.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and feedback.
Classroom Culture & Engagement
- Create a disciplined, respectful, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment.
- Use technology, visual methods, practical applications, and interactive teaching strategies to deepen understanding.
- Foster student participation, curiosity, and confidence in tackling challenging concepts.
Parent Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and support strategies.
- Collaborate with Coordinators, subject teams, and school leadership on curriculum planning and academic initiatives.
- Participate actively in PTMs, staff meetings, training sessions, and school programmes.
- School & Co-Curricular Responsibilities
- Contribute to Mathematics-related activities, Olympiads, exhibitions, clubs, and academic events.
- Support school events, workshops, examinations, and student supervision responsibilities.
- Uphold the values, professionalism, and culture of The Shishya BEML School.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience teaching Mathematics for Grades 11–12.
- Strong command of CBSE curriculum and board exam patterns.
- Ability to prepare students for Olympiads, NTSE, JEE Foundation, or competitive examinations
Preferred
- Experience in reputed CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE schools.
- Familiarity with blended learning tools, smart classrooms, and digital teaching platforms.
