Masters’ Union (www.mastersunion.org) is a Gurgaon based premium new-age business school led by the alumni of IITs, Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. Founded in 2020, Masters’ Union started as a postgraduate program in technology and business management. In the last 3 years, we have had a stellar run with placements surpassing that of IIM Ahmedabad and ISB (Link to our Placement Report). Today, We have courses across verticals including undergraduate, postgraduate, executive PGP, and online bootcamps.

Masters’ Union is a member of the EFMD Global, an accreditation body for business schools, business school programmes, and corporate universities. Our courses are taught by renowned faculty and senior business leaders from abroad including Dr. Mihir Mankad (Former Professor, Harvard), Dr. Edward W. Position Summary:
Masters’ Union invites applications for full-time faculty positions for its Undergraduate course in Technology and Business Management at all levels – Assistant (tenure-track), Associate (tenure-track or tenured), Full Professor (tenured) in areas of:

Management Strategy

Business Stats

Accounting

Business Legalities

Programming

Environmental Science

Managerial Economics

Corporate Finance

Operations Management

for appointments in the 2023-2024 academic year which begins in August 2023.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Essential duties:
Teach a portfolio of undergraduate courses in an applied and engaging manner

Support the mission of the Masters’ Union through teaching, research, and service (including leadership activities in the school, university, community, and/or profession).

Develop and implement curriculum.

Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.

Advise students in the Management area on their course selections and progress toward graduation.

Collaborate with the Small Business Development Center to continue the connection between the centre and enhance the student learning experience, leverage the existing partnership (s) and build innovative instructional opportunities.

Deliver courses using experiential learning opportunities for students

Participate in university level academic citizenship activities

Effectively collaborate with colleagues at Masters’ Union

Secondary responsibilities:
Engage in professional and local communities to develop networks beneficial to Masters’ Union.

Be an advocate for Masters’ Union in established and future networks

Enhance the Masters’ Union community by sharing research and pedagogy through formal and informal means.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications

Assistant Professors: Doctoral candidates who have recently completed or will complete their PhD. before May 2024 may apply.

Associate Professors: Doctoral candidates with teaching or research experience of 2 or more years may apply.

Professors: Doctoral candidates with teaching or research experience of 6 or more years may apply.

Preferred Qualifications

The applicants must possess excellent research and teaching skills and have demonstrated the ability to produce scholarly work at the highest level, as well as capability of becoming outstanding teachers.

Applicants for senior appointments should have published extensively in top-tier refereed journals with a proven track record of successfully mentoring junior faculty.

The ability to tie one’s teaching and research to the School’s mission elements (problem solving, innovation, globalisation, sustainability, and ethics) will be viewed positively.
