Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-focused Marathi Teacher for Grades VI to X who can inspire students to develop strong language skills and appreciation for Marathi literature and culture. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment aligned with CBSE standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

• Teach Marathi to students of Grades VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessment strategies.
• Develop students’ proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and oral communication.
• Encourage creative expression through storytelling, essays, poetry, speeches, dramatization, and language activities.
• Conduct regular assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
• Use interactive and activity-based teaching methodologies to enhance student participation.
• Cater to diverse learning styles and support holistic student development.

Co-Curricular & Cultural Responsibilities

• Organize Marathi-related activities such as elocution, poetry recitation, storytelling, assemblies, literary events, and cultural celebrations.
• Promote awareness and appreciation of Marathi language, literature, and culture among students.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, assessment data, and student progress reports.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, PTMs, workshops, training programs, and school events.
• Coordinate effectively with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marathi / Marathi Literature.
• B.Ed. from a recognized university is mandatory.
• CTET / State TET qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
