- Correcting spelling errors and ensuring grammatical punctuality
- Working with digital and paper manuscripts
- Re-wording sentences or whole sections for stylistic improvement
- Working closely with graphic designers and the rest of the editorial team to ensure manuscripts move through the publishing process at an expected pace
- Resolving queries directly with authors via phone and email
