About the Function:
With an earnest understanding of Indian consumers’ travel preferences, the Holidays team offers a vast range of holiday packages for destinations across the world. This business caters to various segments of travelers traveling to every part of the globe. While the dynamic or customized travel and tour packages offer consumers an option to create and design their own holiday, the fixed departure holiday packages have a predesigned itinerary.
About the Role:
As a Destination Consultant, you are part of a whip-smart team responsible for planning holidays for affluent individuals (High Net Worth Individuals). You should have an in-depth understanding of the destinations and be able to recommend travel options (experiences, cities, itineraries) catering to luxury travel customers. What will you be doing:
- Advising clients on suitable travel options that align with their needs, preferences, and capabilities.
- Conducting research on destinations, travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, and other relevant information.
- Assessing clients’ specifications and desires to recommend appropriate travel destinations and itineraries.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials.
- Being available for scheduled calls with customers to discuss the details of their travel plans.
Qualification & Experience:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputed institute with 8-12 years of experience in business facing roles in similar profile.
Key Success Factors for the Role:
- The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of Long-Haul Destinations.
- Connections with Tourism Board to understand destinations and build knowledge
- Excellent sales skill and understanding of Luxury Travel segment
- Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
- Good Microsoft Office (Power point and Excel) skills
