Job Description:
To manage the entire career services office for the School of Management related to BBA, MBA & and EMBA programs.
Job Outline:
Business Development:
The job holder is responsible for outreach to organizations to facilitate *internships and final placements for students. Some of the tasks/responsibilities include but are not limited to the below.
1. Reach out to eminent organizations in various sectors, such as consulting, and BFSI including investment banking, FMCG, manufacturing, retail, and technology, among others, to develop long-term partnerships for internships and placements.
2. Invite industry/HR leaders for guest lectures to build relationships.
3. Understand the strengths of MU and MUSoM and communicate these clearly to corporate partners.
4. Communicate to the leadership and faculty of MUSoM the requirements of organizations seeking management talent at both the UG and PG levels.
5. Work collaboratively with EMBA Admissions, MU Placements office, and Center for Executive Education to maximize synergies across departments.
6. Leverage MU alumni to make inroads in organizations for placements.
· Learning & Development:
S/he is responsible for handling all student L&D activities concerning preparing the students for placement activities.
1. Work with students and MUSoM faculty to prepare students for internships and placements through skill development workshops (for profile development, CV drafting, interviewing, problem-solving, case analysis, etc.), presentations, and job fairs.
2. Conduct career development workshops for EMBA students.

S/he is responsible for managing the operations of the placement process like
1. Create placement & and internship policies.
2. Ensure a smooth placement process.
3. Manage placement logistics.
